Just twenty minutes from the Morgantown Interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike: only 60 minutes from downtown Philadelphia.

From the Turnpike

From the PA Turnpike, take the Morgantown exit 298, formerly exit 22. From exit 298 you will travel North on 176. At the end of 176 take the 422 West exit. From 422 take the second Reading exit, which is Penn St. Follow Penn St to 11 th St. Cross over 11 th St and the road bears right. At this point Penn St become Perkiomen Ave. There is a park on your left, take the first left after the park onto Hill Rd. Cross over 1 traffic light and continue on Hill Rd for about 1 mile. At this point make a right onto Spook Lane . The sign for the Castle is about 50 ft on the right. Turn right at the sign and drive down the long winding driveway. You cannot see the Castle from the road.

 

Route 422 (Coming from Phila. Or Traveling 422 W)

From 422 W. When you reach the city limits of Reading , you will want to follow 422 w Business Mt Penn. Take 422 Business to 23 rd St. Be in the center lane. You will cross over 23 rd St and 422 Business will become Howard Blvd. You will see an Arners Restaurant on the right. Once you pass Arners Restaurant, you will start to go around a bend. At this point take is slow, right around the bend you will see a red sign on the right for the Castle. Turn right at the sign onto Glen Rd. Do not cross the bridge or you will have gone too far. Follow Glen Rd to a stop sign. Turn right, this is Hill Rd. Then make your next immediate right on to Spook lane. The sign for the Castle is about 50 ft on the right. Turn right at the sign and drive down the long winding driveway. You cannot see the Castle from the road.

 

From Lancaster

Follow route 222 North into the City of Reading . You will cross the Bingaman St Bridge over the Schuylkill River . Once you cross the bridge the road bears left. You will come to a traffic light at 5 th St. Turn Left onto 5 th St and proceed to Penn St. Follow Penn St to 11 th St. Cross over 11 th St and the road bears right. At this point Penn St become Perkiomen Ave. There is a park on your left, take the first left after the park onto Hill Rd. Cross over 1 traffic light and continue on Hill Rd for about 1 mile. At this point make a right onto Spook Lane . The sign for the Castle is about 50 ft on the right. Turn right at the sign and drive down the long winding driveway. You cannot see the Castle from the road.

 

From Allentown and Kutztown

Follow 222 South towards Reading . When you come to the city limits of Reading proceed onto 222 Business Laureldale. 222 Business is 5 th St. Take 5 th St to Penn St and turn left onto Penn St. Follow Penn St to 11 th St. Cross over 11 th St and the road bears right. At this point Penn St become Perkiomen Ave. There is a park on your left, take the first left after the park onto Hill Rd. Cross over 1 traffic light and continue on Hill Rd for about 1 mile. At this point make a right onto Spook Lane . The sign for the Castle is about 50 ft on the right. Turn right at the sign and drive down the long winding driveway. You cannot see the Castle from the road.

 

From Harrisburg and Lebanon 

Follow 422 East Towards Reading . When you enter the city limits of Reading you will follow the signs for Penn Ave. Proceed on Penn Ave until it crosses over Rt. 422. Penn Ave then becomes Penn St. Follow Penn St to 11 th St. Cross over 11 th St and the road bears right. At this point Penn St become Perkiomen Ave. There is a park on your left, take the first left after the park onto Hill Rd. Cross over 1 traffic light and continue on Hill Rd for about 1 mile. At this point make a right onto Spook Lane . The sign for the Castle is about 50 ft on the right. Turn right at the sign and drive down the long winding driveway. You cannot see the Castle from the road.

 

From Rt 61 and Hamburg 

From Route 61 South, take the exit for Route 222 South. From Route 222 South follow through till you come to Route 422 East. Route 222 South becomes Route 422 East once you pass the exit for Broadcasting Road . From 422 East take the exit for Penn St. Follow Penn St to 11 th St. Cross over 11 th St and the road bears right. At this point Penn St become Perkiomen Ave. There is a park on your left, take the first left after the park onto Hill Rd. Cross over 1 traffic light and continue on Hill Rd for about 1 mile. At this point make a right onto Spook Lane . The sign for the Castle is about 50 ft on the right. Turn right at the sign and drive down the long winding driveway.
